I’m also invisibly ill. I’ve been diagnosed with Celiac, Dysautonomia, and a rare genetic disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I’ve been sick since I was young, but I was only recently diagnosed because many of my symptoms are easy to miss, or confuse with another illness. For example, the symptoms of Ehlers Danlos are frequent dislocations, sprains, soft skin, easy bruising, unusual scarring, and hypermobility. My dysautonomia symptoms were low blood pressure, syncope, dizziness, migraines, and tachycardia. As for celiac? Bloating, acid reflux, and…thyroid problems? Kind of hard to connect, huh?
I blog for awareness, for fun, and to share my thoughts on products, books, and places I’ve enjoyed… or not. Expect book reviews, personal posts, makeup hauls, and plenty of travel stories!
